Natural ingredients promoting stem cell release and migration can help the natural repair system of the body, as advances in stem cell research over the past years have revealed.

A Proprietary Blend Of Plant Extracts

STEMREGEN is a proprietary blend of natural ingredients documented to support stem cell release and migration. It assists the body’s natural repair and renewal system.

Sea Buckthorn Berry Extract (Stemberry™)

Interestingly, the scientific name for sea buckthorn, Hippophae, refers not to its physical characteristics but to its effect on health. It is derived from the Greek words “hippo” (horse), and “phae” (light) and essentially means “shining horse”. It is reported that after abandoning horses wounded in battle in a field of sea buckthorn shrubs, Alexander the Great discovered on his return from battle a herd of healthy horses with shiny coats, a sign of health in a horse. A similar story has been reported with Genghis Khan who, the legend says, ordered his soldiers to harvest berries and leaves in order to heal faster from battle wounds.

The health benefits of sea buckthorn berries have been recognized for more than a thousand years in Tibetan, Mongolian and Chinese Medicine where it is used to improve blood circulation and to treat a long list of health conditions. An extract of sea buckthorn berries has recently been documented to trigger stem cell release and to increase the number of circulating stem cells by nearly 40%.

Aphanizomenon Flos-Aquae (AFA) Extract

Aside from his anti-inflammatory and immune-modulatory properties, Aphanizomenon flos-aquae (AFA) Extract has been documented to support the release of stem cells from the bone marrow, significantly increasing the number of circulating stem cells. The mechanism of action has been documented as a blockage of L-selectin at the surface of bone marrow stem cells, by an L-selectin blocker found in AFA. The effect of an extract of AFA in supporting tissue repair has been documented in an animal model of muscle injury. AFA extract was shown to significantly enhance tissue repair. Benefits in humans have been documented in a number of health conditions.

Stemaloe™

Historically, Aloe has been documented to enhance hematopoiesis (blood cell formation) in the body. More recently, Aloe was shown to support the proliferation of stem cells in the bone marrow. In a 2013 study on the effect of a unique extract of Aloe on Alzheimer’s disease, the daily consumption of an Aloe extract showed a significant improvement in cognitive scorein patients suffering from moderate to severe Alzheimer’s disease. A unique source of Aloe marketed as StemAloe™ was documented to support stem cell release form the bone marrow.

Fucus Vesiculosus Extract

Fucus vesiculosus Extract contains two unique components:

  1. phlorotannins, and more specifically phloroglucinol.
  2. a polysaccharide known as fucoidan.
Phloroglucinol has been associated with benefits touching various aspects of human health, such as cardiovascular health, cognitive functions and glucose metabolism.

Fucoidan on the other hand has been documented to have anti-inflammatory properties and to increase the baseline number of circulating stem cells over time.

Panax Notoginseng Extract

An extract from Panax Notoginseng concentrating saponins referred to as notoginsenosides has been associated with benefits to the cardiovascular and endocrine systems, as well as cognitive improvements in cases of Alzheimer’s diseases. Recently, an extract of Panax notoginseng was documented to increase the proliferation of stem cells within the bone marrow, as well as their release from the bone marrow, increasing the number of circulating stem cells.

Beta-Glucan 1-3

Beta-Glucan has been documented to support various aspects of stem cell function, including stem cell proliferationrelease from the bone marrow, and migration into tissues. The Beta-Glucan used in Stemregen is 85% (1→3)-b-D-glucose bonds, the most potent form of Beta-Glucan.
